WinWay Technology today (27th) received the Sports Enterprise Certification from the Sports for All Agency, Ministry of Sports. This marks WinWay’s first time earning the certification, recognizing the company’s commitment to its vision of “driving innovation through sports and achieving the future through health.” WinWay encourages employees to maintain both physical and mental well-being alongside their professional pursuits.
A key highlight that contributed to this recognition is WinWay’s cross-departmental annual initiative — the “WinWay Sports Calendar.” The calendar includes the company’s annual charity run personally led by Chairman Mark Wang, as well as family-friendly events such as “Baseball Day” and “Leisure Day,” encouraging employees to participate with their families in sports competitions and outdoor activities. The company also hosts an annual “Sports Day,” where employees form teams to compete in paintball matches game, softball game, badminton game and bowling game. This year, the event are going to expand in scale, crossing departments and regions, will extend from an one-day to a two-day event. Both the number of participants and the scale reached a record high.
To embody the spirit of a sports enterprise, WinWay has established well-equipped facilities at its headquarters, including a gym, pool ball room, table tennis room, and shower spaces — creating a workplace that promotes work-life balance. Employees are encouraged to establish sports clubs, and the company currently has softball, running, fitness & wellness, and badminton clubs. Among them, the running club is led by managers who organize weekly practice sessions, while the badminton and softball clubs hold regular competitions to help employees set training goals and strengthen team cohesion.
Since 2019, WinWay has incorporated professional occupational health and nursing staff into its formal organization to enhance workplace health and safety across multiple dimensions, including occupational safety management and employee wellness. The company maintains a health database to record and analyze medical check-up results, systematically tracking employees’ health outcomes and providing individualized feedback and support. For employees at remote facilities, WinWay also arranges on-site consultations with professional physicians, ensuring comprehensive medical services.
Kenny Hsieh, Vice President of WinWay’s Administration and Management Center, stated that receiving the Sports Enterprise Certification not only acknowledges WinWay’s dedication to promoting sports and wellness within the company but also affirms its belief that employee health and well-being lie at the core of its corporate culture and social responsibility. “While striving for business performance, we are equally committed to fostering sustainable corporate competitiveness,” Kenny added.
