WinWay obtained ISO14001 environmental management system international certification in 2014. We conduct annual environmental factor identification regularly for the various operations, services, and WinWay product life cycles to decide the major environmental factors and assess the risks and opportunities. The Company then adopts related improvement plans or management measures to achieve sustainable management. To reduce environmental impact. At the same time, WinWay completely complies with environmental protection laws and regulations and relevant international requirements. We continue to manage and control waste water, waste, air pollution, and noise prevention measures to reduce the Company's impact on the environment and ecosystems. Since our establishment, WinWay has not been subject to major penalties due to violations of environmental protection laws and regulations.

Energy Management:

The Company implements central air-conditioning management, replacing lighting equipment with energy-saving options, and promoting the habit of turning off lights when a room is not in use to reduce energy consumption.
Specific measures
- Develop the habit of turning off lights when a room is not in use.
- Gradually replace T5 lights with energy-saving LED lights.
- From 2018 to 2019, 105 sets of LED lights were installed in replacement, reducing the average monthly energy consumption of lighting equipment by 2,162kWh.
- Replace old, energy-consuming air-conditioning equipment and conduct regular cleanings and maintenance to improve usage efficiency.
Low Carbon Environment

Greenhouse gases exacerbate global climate change. In response to the renewable energy policy implemented by the government, the Company carefully evaluates the development conditions of various renewable energies. We constructed the first solar power generation system with a capacity of 99.96kW in 2020 and we will construct a solar power generation system with a capacity of 259.125kWp in the new plant in Nanzih Technology Industrial Park No. 1 in 2023. WinWay is actively investing in the construction of solar power systems, increasing renewable energy generation and contributing to the creation of low-carbon cities.
Specific measures
- In 2020, the head office installed a power generation system with a capacity of 99.96kWp, resulting in an annual carbon reduction of 74.3 tons starting in 2021.
- A power generation capacity of 259.125kWp is planned to be installed in the new Park No. 1 plant in 2023. It is expected to reduce carbon by 184.86 tons annually starting in 2024.
Water Management:

In response to global climate change, the stabilization of water supplies has become an issue faced by various countries. We have decreased overall water usage by 10% to fulfill our social responsibility and tackle the global water shortage. We are implementing concrete actions to face the challenges of climate change with other global enterprises.
Specific measures
- Collect waste water and apply reverse osmosis (RO) for reusing it in toilets.
- Install water-saving toilets.
- Implement water conservation internally and strengthen waste water classification to lay the foundation for water conservation and recycling during production.
Waste Management:

Implement waste reduction and recycling to demonstrate the value of sustainable resources.
Specific measures
- Sort garbage into recyclable and non-recyclable.
- Reuse the back of old printouts.
- Bring our own cups and cutlery to reduce the usage of disposable dishware.
- Advocate double-sided or multi-page printing on a single sheet to reduce paper and toner use and make the most out of printouts.
- Promote digitized operations to effectively reduce paper use.
